Jerry Lawler: My request to you; Please retire

Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler is a former pro wrestler and current color commentator for WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw. He occasionly wrestles a few matches but at the end of the day, is back at the announce table.

But he is a former shell of himself now. He isn’t as entertaining as he used to be. He is not funny anymore. He has also caught up with the ‘sad, corny jokes’ tradition of the PG-Era, whose leader is Mr. Fruity Pebbles himself, John Cena.

Now, the only things he comments on is Cole, Divas or making fun of Vickie Gurrero’s weight. Seriously, King? She has worked hard so much and lost a lot of weight and still you tease her? Have you seen your weight?

Jokes apart, you are a hall-of-famer. You should be the one resurrecting the already stupid announce table rather than digging it’s own grave. Jim Ross is working so hard for that and you along with Cole are just degrading it. My simple, but effective advice to you is:

Hang up your boots, man. It’s now time for you to retire. You can’t announce the matches properly and you certainly can’t wrestle now. You are not funny anymore. You can take up a backstage role. You are required there, not at the announce table commenting about the Divas.

Look at that image, Jerry. Does that look fat to you? It doesn’t. She is looking as stunning as ever. And you are degrading her with your stereotypical, nonsensical commentary? You better not.

You moving out can make place for new and upcoming announcers such as Josh Matthews, Matt Striker or Scott Stanford.

Simply put Jerry, your time is up. You are not the center of attraction now. It’s time to step down and make way for the next rising star.

Now, you're not winning titles

I hope you understand the point I’m making here. Jerry, I’ve got two words for you:

—- it!

Signing off,

Sid

  1. He is retired… but unfortunately he’s extremely protected, so people pop for him. Like whenever he stands up from the booth someone is getting their ass kicked. Plus he does dropkicks… which are rare now a days.

As for Vickie… she will always be a 500 lbs whale as long as she’s a heel. My god a man could mistake that 140 lbs woman for Yokozuna with a bra. Its sad, but that’s what WWE is. Asking Jerry to retire would just replace him with another dumbass.

    • Thanks for the comment.
Most of the wrestlers do dropkicks… heck, even Cena does dropkicks.

Vickie, she has reduced a lot! WWE is just stereotypical for the divas.

No, Matt Striker, Josh Matthews etc are not dumb asses. They are pretty good.
